Salvador Dalí Museum 1 Dali Boulevard, St. Petersburg, Florida. Built in 2011. The museum was founded after a couple, A. Reynolds & Eleanor R. Morse attended a Dalí retrospective. This began their collection that remained housed in their own home until 1971. A series of moves was made with the collection until they found themselves in their new permanent home in 2011. The structure was designed by Yann Weymouth and includes 1.5 inch thick glass, 18-inch hurricane proof concrete, and a 75 foot tall glass entryway that encompasses a helical staircase.

Florida Historic Capitol 400 South Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida. Built in 1845.  The Florida Historic Capitol building was built just prior to Florida entering the United States Union as the 27th state. The building is currently restored to its appearance from 1902, when the classical style dome was added onto the top of the building. After the new state capitol was built in the late 1970's, the historic building was threatened with demolition, but was saved due to citizen's actions. The Florida Legislative Research Center is located on the ground floor of the building and serves to collect, preserve, and make publically available significant materials connected with Florida's history.

The Big Chicken 12 Cobb Parkway North, Marietta, Georgia. Built in 1956. This 56-foot tall chicken rises above US-41, showering a love of chicken over the city's  largest intersection. Built in 1956, this building was originally constructed by S. R. "Tubby" Davis, owner of Johnny Reb's Chick, Chuck and Shake. It was later sold to his brother, who turned it into a KFC franchise.  The Big Chicken was rebuilt in 1993 following a strong storm. It now features moving eyes and a moving beak.
